KD 16 "Aunt Pearl" sneakers FN4929
The passing of Kevin Durant's aunt from cancer in 2000 prompted the professional basketball player to develop a sneaker theme in her honour: the Aunt Pearl. Debuting on 2012's KD 4, it has become an integral part of Durant’s signature shoe line, including the KD 16. Crafted from light-pink engineered mesh, it stands out thanks to an embossed floral motif within the Hyper Pink-colored mudguard and midfoot overlay. They are finished with fuzzy shoelaces, Durant’s signature branding at the right shoe’s tongue, and a rose and angel wings at the left shoe’s tongue.
