Chanel’s original Mademoiselle turn-lock fastening had its debut on the 2.55 bag. Once Karl Lagerfeld was titled creative director of the house in the ‘80s, he introduced the interlocking CC turn-lock to replace it. From then on, it became one of Chanel’s symbols, and it’s shown on the front of this zipped handbag, crafted from the house's famous grained caviar leather.
